Just a second to ’stop in’ and wish everyone a great weekend. School is stressing me out so much (the adults, never the kids!) that I livefor the weekends now. I am usually never like this–at least not to this extent. But lately, Friday afternoon cannot get here fast enough. I just want to get away from that place as fast as I can. I hate feeling this way. I know I need to pray for patience and peace in my heart…I know God is testing me. I need to stop having such negative thoughts towards certain people. I know this. It’s a huge fault…I just think people should do their jobs correctly. It enfuriates me when they don’t and then their incompetence impacts my students in a negative way. And when this happens, I will speak up…I will be a bitch. So that is what’s tearing me apart—keeping it inside so as not to ruffle feathers, OR speak up and stand up for my kids and piss certain people off. People that know me well know I don’t like conflict…at all. But I feel like my kids are getting $hit on, and isn’t it my job to stand up for them? I guess I just answered my own question.
Grrrr. Anyway…have a great weekend all.

You are an awesome teacher to care so much for your students. I say speak up! Obviously whomever is upsetting up is not concerned with YOUR feelings.

Hang in there ,sweetie. If it gets bad enuff, you’ll know. But then again they may not know what they’re doing is upsetting anyone,that is ,if you don’t say anything. At any rate,enjoy your week ends.

No, Bock, I don’t think we all feel the same way. I do. You might. Most might, but we don’t ALL feel that way. Some adults are more concerned with being spiteful and juvenile towards other adults and not giving a shit how it impacts our students.
Obviously this is something that you feel a lot of passion for and if you don’t do something you are going to implode.
Some things and people never change. Those ‘teachers’ need to find another career b/c they are doing all your kids an injustice!! HUGS
